Man Carrying Koran, Bible Caught With Box Cutter in Book at Tampa Airport

Police nabbed a 21-year-old Florida man at the Tampa airport after they found him hiding a box cutter in a hollowed-out book titled "Fear Itself."

Benjamin Baines was also found to be carrying the Bible and the Koran, as well as other books on Islam, including "Muhammad in the Bible," "The Prophet's Prayer" and "The Noble Qur'an," The Tampa Tribune reported.

The Clearwater, Fla., man could spend 10 years in jail and pay a $250,000 fine if he's convicted of a felony charge of attempting to board an airplane with a concealed dangerous weapon.

Baines was arrested over the weekend at Tampa International Airport when security personnel discovered the cut-up "Fear" book with the blade in his backpack.

He is currently serving a 30-day sentence for a misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon, the paper reported.
