A hungry, jobless man allegedly stole his landlord’s pet Chihuahua on Monday and tried to cook it in a Seoul, South Korea, boarding house, the Korea Times reported.
The 52-year-old, identified only as "Park," grabbed the dog while his landlord was in the bathroom, killed it and attempted to cook it, mistakenly setting some clothes in the room on fire in the process, the Korea Times reported.
Police said Park was intoxicated and quoted him as saying, "I did so because I was hungry," the Korea Times reported.
