Most youngsters scream or cover their eyes during scary movie scenes. But one young girl must leave the room during scary television programs because the shock could kill her, according to a report in the UK's Daily Mail.
Ten-year-old Jennifer Lloyd has a rare condition in which her body does not produce adrenaline when she is frightened. Because of this, a sudden scare or physical stress could cause her to go into shock or even slip into a coma.
Jennifer is one of only six known sufferers in Britain of polyglandular Addison's disease. Symptoms include dizziness, stomach pain, confusion, irritability, nausea and can cause multiple organ problems.
