LOS ANGELES – "Simple Life" star Nicole Richie and her boyfriend welcomed a baby girl on Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, People Magazine reported, while singer Christina Aguilera and her husband had their baby just doors down the hall.

A representative for Richie and her boyfriend, Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, told People Harlow Winter Kate Madden weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces.
"The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents," the representative told the magazine.
Elsewhere in Cedars-Sinai on Friday, pop singer Aguilera was giving birth to her baby, Star Magazine reported.

Aguilera and husband, Jordan Bratman, had their child, whose sex had not been confirmed, around 4 p.m. and reportedly text-messaged friends and family, "Baby has arrived. Mom and dad are doing well."
