Cops: Man, 86, Carjacked, Beaten With Own Cane

SAGINAW, Mich – First they took his cane and beat him with it, then they grabbed his car keys and took off with his Cadillac.

That's what Saginaw police say several attackers did to an 86-year-old man.

Police say the man was being beaten in an alley when his car keys fell out of his pocket, and the assailants grabbed them before driving away in the 1998 Caddy.

The victim told police he wasn't injured.

The Saginaw News and WNEM-TV report nobody was in custody as of Tuesday.
