What a trip.
A police officer in Australia who was investigating a home burglary stumbled over the alleged criminal as he slept on the home’s floor, Australia’s Courier Mail reports.

"An officer was having a look around taking photos when he tripped over something on the floor," Victoria Police spokesman Sen-Constable Leigh Wadeson said.
The crime scene officer had been collecting evidence and taking pictures in response to a call for a break-in.
The 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with burglary and theft after being found curled up on the floor, sleeping.
