Rebecca De Mornay Charged With Driving Under the Influence

Rebecca De Mornay has been charged with misdemeanor drunken driving stemming from her arrest two months ago.

A Los Angeles District Attorney's spokeswoman said De Mornay was charged Thursday with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and one count of driving with a blood alcohol level above the legal limit of .08.

The 48-year-old actress is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.

De Mornay was arrested Oct. 30 for a traffic violation in Beverly Hills when officers smelled alcohol on her breath.

Calls to her representatives were not immediately returned.

De Mornay is best known for playing the prostitute who befriends a high school student played by Tom Cruise in the 1983 film "Risky Business." Her other screen credits include "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle," "Backdraft" and "Lords of Dogtown."
