Friends of slain British college student Meredith Kercher have been called back before an Italian judge to repeat comments made to them by Amanda Knox, Kercher's American roommate who is a suspect in the gruesome killing, the Guardian reported Sunday.

According to the report, the comments Knox made to the six British students could place her at the crime scene.

Kercher, 21, was subjected to a brutal sexual assault before being stabbed through the neck Nov. 1 in the Italian apartment she shared with Knox, 20. Both were exchange students studying abroad in Italy.

In the days following the murder, Knox reportedly made remarks to Kercher's friends in which she described details of the murder and the crime scene that could further implicate her in the crime.

Knox, her Italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, 23, and Ivory Coast national Rudy Guede, 20, are being held on suspicion of murder and sexual assault.
