PETA launched a new campaign this week against Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for continuing to wear and promote fur despite pleas for them to stop.
The animal rights activist group has created a caricature of the "Full House" childhood stars in which the sisters are dubbed "Trollsen Twins" (Hairy Kate and Trashley) and a movie parody in which a PETA advocate dressed in black and wearing shades calls the girls "trashy fur hags."
PETA has even devoted a MySpace page to the sisters. Under the "About Me" section, it says: "We live under a bridge and wait for furry animals to walk by so we can skin them and wear them as hats." The site also lists "Cruella Deville" as the twins' "Hero."
PETA planned to unveil a poster of the twins Tuesday afternoon next to their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, TMZ reported. It will read, "Fur Is Worn By Beautiful Animals and Ugly People."
