A call reporting an explosion on northbound Interstate 35 north of Lewisville Lake Bridge came in around 1:40 p.m, said Denton County Sheriff's spokesman Tom Reedy. The truck was fully engulfed in flames and one witness reported a man jumped out of the truck's cab and was on fire, Reedy said.

Traffic was shut down on both sides of Interstate 35E.
