The FBI interrogator who spent a year getting close to Saddam Hussein says in his book the former Iraqi dictator cried during their last meeting, the New York Daily News reported.

"When we were saying bye, he started to tear up," FBI Special Agent George Piro says in his book "The Terrorist Watch: Inside the Desperate Race to Stop the Next Attack."

Hussein confessed to killing hundreds of thousands of Kurds and became close with Piro after months of interaction.
