Friday Finals: Week's Winners and Losers

Time for the Friday Finals, this week's winners and losers as chosen by "The Big Story" staff. Let's start with the winners.

The big winner is Rush Limbaugh. He's got $2.1 million reasons to prove it. Hard-core Democrats tried to back him into a corner, but the conservative radio host sought revenge. And boy did he get it.

The FOX Business Network was also a big winner. It debuted on Monday and we're all rooting for them. CNBC should look out!

The hero cop in South Carolina was another big winner. He saved a woman from becoming cream sauce, literally. He pulled her out of the car seconds before an oncoming train demolished it.

And speaking of lucky to be alive, our last big winner is the autistic hiker from West Virginia. Jacob Allen survived four days lost in the woods in freezing temperatures before being rescued. His family is overjoyed that he is OK.

Now it's time for our big losers of the week and the reasons why they were chosen.

The biggest loser is the Portland, Maine, school district for thinking it's a good idea to give birth control to 11 year olds. Wrong message to send if you ask me.

Democratic Congressman Pete Stark is another big loser. He should be punished for saying our president gets amusement from our troops dying in Iraq. Where is his apology?

Al Qaeda is also a loser. The terror group tried to assassinate Pakistan's former prime minister, but instead murdered more than 130 civilians.

And finally, little Iggy is a loser. Ellen DeGeneres' adopted dog has been bounced around like a basketball in this crazy adoption drama that would only happen in L.A. Someone please give this puppy a permanent home.

And that's the Friday Finals, this week's big winners and big losers.
