GIBSONIA, Pa. – Authorities say three people suspected in a ninja-style robbery of an Allegheny County gas station have been arrested in Kentucky.
The district attorney's office is trying to extradite 18-year-old Vanessa Waisbrot-Yobst, 20-year-old James Riley and a 17-year-old girl from Shelbyville, Ky., where they were arrested Thursday.
Security videos shows what appears to be two women dressed in black ninja gear robbing a Sunoco station on Route 8 in Richland Township in Pittsburgh's North Hills suburbs on Sept. 22. Police say the suspects are also from the North Hills.
Police say the robbers used a samurai sword and a dagger during the robbery and stole money, cigarettes and lottery tickets.
