Fox Business Network will give a Web preview of its news anchors and future Internet site starting on Oct. 1, about two weeks ahead of the cable television channel's official launch.

The News Corp-owned (NWS) business channel aims to rival General Electric Co's (GE) CNBC for viewers and has drawn close media attention over its plans.

Fox Business said the Web address www.foxbusiness.com will be available to viewers on Oct. 1, with video clips of its leading editors and anchors explaining what to expect from its business coverage.

The same Web address will become the Fox Business Network's official site at launch on Oct. 15.

News Corp is also the parent company of Fox News Channel and its Internet site www.foxnews.com.
