A fugitive wanted on charges of stealing $92,600 from an Arkansas Wal-Mart was being questioned by federal authorities Tuesday after he was rescued off the Florida coast.

Kirby Logan Archer, 35, of Strawberry, Ark., is a robbery suspect, an FBI spokeswoman told FOX News. Archer is accused of stealing the cash from a Batesville, Ark., Wal-Mart where he worked as an assistant manager.

Archer and Guillermo Zarabozo, 19, were found in good condition Monday floating on a life raft in the Florida Straits near Cuba that belongs to a charter fishing boat. The four-man boat crew from the boat were missing.

The Independence County Sheriff's Department in Batesville, Ark., plans to extradite Archer on a felony theft property charge if the FBI doesn't charge him with anything, Capt. Bill Lindsey told FOXNews.com.

"If there are no charges against him down there, we’ll make arrangements to extradite him from Florida," Lindsey said.

Archer, a fugitive since January 2007, and Zarabozo paid the crew of a Miami Beach charter boat $4,000 to drop them off in Bimini, Bahamas.

U.S. Coast Guard officials recovered the missing boat that is under investigation for any clues that could lead to the missing crew.

"Right now, there is still hope," said James Judge, a spokesman for the Miami Coast Guard.

Rescuers searched 1,900 square miles and two different search areas for any signs of the missing crew.

Officials were looking for the captain, Jake Branam, 27; his wife, Kelley Branam; his half-brother, Scott Campbell, 30; and Samuel Kairy, 27, all of Miami Beach.

Jeff Branam, uncle of Jake Branam, one of the missing crew members and a co-owner of the boat, said he believes the two suspects tossed the crew overboard.

The "Joe Cool" charter boat, a 47-foot sport fishing yacht, was found Sunday afternoon with no one on board.
