Zsa Zsa Gabor is scheduled to have surgery Tuesday for "severe infection in her legs," her publicist said.
The operation will be at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, publicist John Blanchette said. The 88-year-old actress has remained partially paralyzed from a 2002 car accident, forcing her to use a wheelchair and walker and leading to infections in her legs.
"She's been inactive for the last four years," Blanchette said.
Gabor then had an apparent stroke in 2005 and underwent emergency surgery to clear a blocked artery.
The Hungarian native appeared in numerous films ranging from "Moulin Rouge" in 1952 to "Queen of Outer Space" in 1958. She appeared on TV specials and games shows, and as a guest on several television series, often playing herself.
In 1989, she slapped a Beverly Hills police officer who stopped her for expired license plates. She was convicted after a heavily publicized trial.
