A Florida man was sentenced to month in jail Friday for posting nude photo of his underage ex-girlfriend on her MySpace page after she broke up with him.
Anthony Rich, 19, pleaded no contest to child abuse and attempted child abuse charges for getting even with the his former lover by digging up a naked picture he took of her when she was 15 and placing it on her page on the popular social networking Web site, MyFoxTampaBay.com reported.
The girl consented to having the photograph taken when she was younger, assistant state attorney Jeff Quisenberry told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
Deputies said he made hundreds of copies and passed them around.
"He doesn't defend it, he's not saying 'I was right,' Brett McIntosh, Rich's attorney said. "He did it because he was angry at her and this is the way he was getting back at her."
Rich was also ordered to serve a year's house arrest and four year's probation.
Original charges filed by prosecutors would have branded Rich a sex offender for life, but his lawyer got the charges reduced to child abuse.
MySpace is owned by News Corp., the parent company of FOXNews.com.
