Must Haves For Less

Boots! Jackets! Jeans! There are certain things you can't start school without, but a back to school wardrobe can cost a fortune. That's where The Style Guide comes in. I have your college must haves for a fraction of the price. Here's all the scoop on the styles you loved in our student style video.

Class Classics

Jeans are THE # 1 student staple, but designer styles can cost up to $300! You CAN have this season's hottest trends like the skinny jean and new wide leg style and save a ton of money.

Other co-ed favorites? North Face jackets, polo shirts and flip-flops. Just remember, some things are worth the splurge like a warm jacket that will last forever and never go out of style.

Lounging Around

Students heading to early morning classes and late-night study sessions want to be comfortable and still look great. Juicy sweats and Ugg boot are every girl's go-to style, but these designer labels cost a fortune. Lucky for us, stores like Target and Old Navy have similar styles that are kind to your wallet.

Co-ed Formal

A cocktail dress is far from a college uniform, but the annual dance, parent's weekend and of course graduation can require something a bit dressier. A simple black dress is the perfect solution, but still shouldn't break the bank.

Back To School

Now that you're dressed for success and have some money left over, there are plenty of gadgets you'll need to get you through four years of college. Check out our video, Cool at School to learn what they are! For more Back To School videos and articles, go to fncimag.com.
