Homemade Explosives Found in New Hampshire Neighborhood

Police say they've found three homemade explosives in a Bedford neighborhood Monday.

One was found in a resident's driveway. Police said that the device had nine carbon dioxide cartridges, and they said it could have created an explosion powerful enough to kill someone.

Police said two other, less powerful explosive devices were later found near homes in the same neighborhood. Those two were bottle bombs, a homemade explosive that relies on a chemical reaction to explode.

There was no immediate indication why the devices were left in the neighborhood.
