Friday Finals: Week's Winners and Losers

The trouble begins… now! Does John's My Word make your blood boil? Click here to listen live to The John Gibson Show on FOX News Radio (weekdays, 6-9 p.m. ET). It's your chance to call in and argue with John!

My Word's Friday Finals, the winners and losers of the week, and the reasons why. First the big winners.

The market. It's roaring, baby, just roaring. Hope your 401(k) plan is correctly positioned.

The Beckhams have to be winners. David's paid about $1 million a week to play for a soccer team in L.A., and they are basking in paparazzi attention. And most Americans don't know who he or she is or are or were.

Larry Flynt. Imagine a pornographer is passing himself off as a guy trying to expose immorality. As P.T. Barnum said, there's a sucker born every minute, and when they grow up they go into the news evidently.

Dennis Kucinich is a huge winner. Embarrassing Hillary Clinton and John Edwards over this videotape. (Click here to watch John's My Word.) They said he wasn't serious. Did you see Kucinich in the shot? They're talking about sticking a knife in his back and he's right there in the background. It doesn't get any better than that.

And now the big losers this week.

Well, GOP Sen. John McCain, of course. His campaign almost bled dry of money, fired his best friend campaign manager, regrouping like crazy. Not good.

Sen. David Vitter. Bad enough one madam exposes you, but two in one week? Ouch.

Cindy Sheehan is our last big loser. She's going to run against Nancy Pelosi. She got kicked off the far-left Web site Daily Kos for daring to challenge a Democrat leader like Nancy. It got ugly.

And that's this week's big winners and losers.

That's My Word.
