Christopher Vaughn, the 32-year-old man facing charges for killing his wife and three children and leaving their bodies in an abandoned SUV in rural Illinois will waive extradition at a hearing on Tuesday, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
Vaughn, who is from Oswego, Ill., is being held in St. Charles County, Mo., outside of St. Louis, but could be back in Will County, Ill., by late Tuesday evening after his lawyer challenged the extradition, the newspaper reported.
Vaughn was charged on June 23 with two murder counts per victim, the Associated Press reported. He has remained in custody without bail in St. Charles County.
