Amid rumors her love life is the “Pitts,” Angelina Jolie reportedly went “Beyond Borders” by giving a lap dance to former French flame Olivier Martinez.
Even after her directorial debut with the documentary “A Place in Time” at the Tribeca film festival in New York last week, the sassy screen siren wasn’t ready to step out of the spotlight.
According to Us Weekly spies, an “outgoing and chatty” Angie wined and dined at an official bash at Hotel Gansevoort before voyaging to a VIP celebration at nearby eatery Gin Lane.
It was here that the humanitarian hottie got down on the dance floor and busted some moves with Martinez, whom she apparently romanced while filming “Taking Lives” in 2004.
“She [Jolie] turned to him on the banquette and was shaking it in front of him,” a partygoer told Us Weekly.
“She was giving him a lap dance,” another reveler revealed. “She was looking over her shoulder, tossing a glance his way.”
And according to another witness, Angie's ways were “very flirty."
Dina Lohan Wants to Give Her 'View'
The perennial party mom of screen star Lindsay Lohan certainly isn’t one to “Li-Lo."
According to a report in OK! magazine, Dina Lohan is digging in her Manolos to replace Rosie O'Donnell on “The View” and has been burning the phone lines to promote herself to producers.
Wonder if they picked up the phone?
Meanwhile, daughter Lindsay, who turns 21 on July 2, said Wednesday on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she plans to "milk it" when she becomes old enough to legally go to clubs.
Lohan said turning 21 has "been a long time coming" for her friends who own clubs in Los Angeles. After she's legal, "they don't have to worry about getting into trouble," for letting her inside, she told host Ellen DeGeneres.
Britney Spears Back in Business!
Britney Spears brought the house down at San Diego’s House of Blues Tuesday night, proving that the reformed rehabber seems to have blossomed beyond the blues herself.
Despite debate as to whether the sneaky comeback concert would be cancelled at the last minute, the single mom reclaimed her “Prerogative” as the princess of pop after three years off the stage.
A brunette Brit was back to her “Baby One More Time” form as she took to the spotlight for a five-song set in knee-high go-go boots, a short white skirt and a sparkly pink bra top that showed off her belly button ring — and no evidence of the weight gain that landed her on celebrity tabloid covers last year.
(More evidence of Britney's newly trim physique: Purported photos of the star topless and holding flowers over her breasts, reportedly taken last month, were floating around the Web on Wednesday. Click here to see the photos.)
A long brown wig completed the outfit, covering the head she shaved in February.
Aside from her songs, Spears’ only words of wisdom for the packed club were: “Thanks, everyone, for coming."
“She was just unreal,” 22-year-old San Diego local Andrea Adams told FOXNews.com. “The crowd was screaming the entire time. Britney just looked great up there.”
The 25-year-old mother of two launched a short set with her classic "Baby One More Time," using a cafe chair as a burlesque prop while she pranced around the small club stage backed up by four dancers.
"She's so good!" yelled San Diego hairstylist Ally Murray, 29, as Spears showed off her aerobic choreography.
But it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the singer.
According to PerezHilton.com, Spears had to do all the choreography and conceptualization herself after a fallout with former friend and choreographer Brian Friedman.
Nevertheless, Spears sped through the songs — all standards from her earlier albums — wrapping up after less than 15 minutes.
The comeback didn't hit a high note for everyone, some of whom paid upward of $125 a ticket.
"It looked like she lip-synched her way through the whole thing," said a disappointed Morgan Segall, 20, who flew in from San Francisco for the night.
The performance, under heavy club security, was shrouded in mystery. The club marquee advertised a show by "The M&Ms," and it wasn't until an hour after the doors opened that a disc jockey mentioned Spears' name, prompting shrieks from girls jammed in front of the stage.
Rumors of a Spears show had spread on the Internet and via local radio stations late last week, prompting a run on tickets by die-hard fans.
"Whatever, we love her," said Raul Flores, 22, who waved a foam placard of his favorite pop star at the club exit. "She's amazing."
At one point in the show, Spears and her posse played at taunting a male dancer who, dressed in a natty gray suit, looked vaguely like Federline.
"The M&Ms" had two other concerts scheduled at House of Blues venues in Southern California — one in Anaheim on Wednesday and the other Thursday in West Hollywood — according to the club's Web site.
Meanwhile, rumors continue to swirl about Spears and singer/songwriter Howie Day.
According to X17 Online, the couple wined and dined on Saturday night at Hollywood’s The Bridge Restaurant, before they let their hair down (oops, my mistake) at hotspots Element, Les Deux, Parc and Teddy’s.
"They made a handsome couple,” a witness told the Web site. “They left the club and Howie drove Britney's Mercedes back to her house and stayed there all night."
The fling between Day and Spears reportedly started in February when they met at Promises, Spears' rehab center.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
If you believe the tabloids, things may be not be cruising along so well for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, with the “Top Gun” star reportedly telling Holmes to take parenting classes at his Scientology church.
“Katie was offended,” a source told Australia’s OK! Magazine. “You can only imagine how much it would hurt to be told you need to go to church to become a better mother.”
But according to a former staff member in the Cruise-Holmes household, Katie is a great mom.
“Katie is absolutely amazing with Suri,” the source told FOXNews.com. “Suri is a really cheerful, happy baby as a result of Katie’s parenting.”
Meanwhile, Tom reportedly has demanded that his mother, Mary Lee, make note of Holmes’ every move. OK! reported that at a recent lunch at Hollywood hotspot the Ivy, Mary Lee even commented on "what Katie put in her mouth."
Perhaps Tom is tormented by the fact that his brunette beauty may be influenced by the strength and independence of her “Mad Money” co-stars Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah.
“He [Tom] doesn’t want ideas in her head,” an insider added. “Everyone’s urging Katie to divorce him and take Suri, but Scientology really frowns on it. If she left Suri with him, it could be difficult to ever see her daughter.”
Holmes has also been “flirting” with her “Mad Money” co-star Adam Rothenberg, according to Life & Style.
“They shot a scene in which Adam wrapped his arms around Katie’s waist, then the two of them had an intimate discussion,” a “set insider” told the magazine. “They lingered after the director said ‘cut,’ and it got everyone talking.”
“There’s definitely been some off-camera flirting,” the insider added. “One day, Katie was touching Adam’s arm while they were talking, like girls do when they like somebody.”
Justin Timberlake Was Never Cool in School
He might have brought “SexyBack,” but pop prince Justin Timberlake insists that he was full of ugliness in his younger years.
"I used to get picked on all the time,” he confessed to USA Today. “I had terrible acne, weird hair. My arms were too long.”
And what of the big break-up? Timberlake had only kind words for ex-girlfriend Cameron Diaz.
“She's an amazing woman and an amazing actress,” he said. “I hold a huge amount of respect for her.”
Bruce Willis Whines About Pantyless Party Girls
"Die Hard" star Bruce Willis has lashed out at Hollywood hotties such as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears for taking their private parts public.
“They're not writing about guys my age much anymore, unless I do something naughty," he told Vanity Fair magazine. "They're writing about the kids. That's what drives pop culture now.”
“Anything goes, to the point where it's OK for young pop stars or film stars to show photos of their naked [private parts] in a magazine. If this is it, then it's over man, it's the f—-king Fall of Rome.”
While Willis may not think much of Young Hollywood, he still has a soft spot for ex-wife Demi Moore.
“I love Demi, and I know she loves me," the “Die Hard” hero admitted to the mag. "It's hard for people to understand, but we go on holidays together. We still raise our kids together — we still have that bond.”
Willis recently welcomed the dazzling Demi and her 29-year-old hubby Ashton Kutcher into his home on Parrot Cay, on the Turks and Caicos islands in the Caribbean — despite the fact he and Moore separated in 1998 and divorced in 2000 after 13 years of marriage.
Britney Spears 'Stunt Eating'?
Reformed rehabber Britney Spears has sparked speculation that she has been “stunt eating” to prove to the paparazzi that she hasn’t drastically cut her calories.
The single mom has been frequently photographed demolishing fatty fast foods of late, despite her fading frame.
“It was almost theatrical,” one photographer told the Australian magazine Famous last week after snapping Spears scoffing Del Taco fries in her car.
“Britney has always loved burgers and bad foods,” a source also told FOXNews.com. “But if she really was living off junk the way it seems, there is no way she could have gotten her hot body back.”
Meanwhile, cops pulled over the pop princess for speeding through Sunset Boulevard on Friday.
“She [Britney] was pulled over for speeding," Beverly Hills police Sgt. Mike Foxen confirmed to People magazine. "She was warned about her speed and let go. She was not cited."
Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen: Lohan Addicted to Plastic
Screen star Lindsay Lohan has finally ‘fessed up to going on serious spender benders.
"I talk about my impulses with my therapist — I have a shopping problem," she told Nylon magazine. "I love to shop too much."
As for life in the spotlight, the “Bobby” beauty laps up the paparazzo love.
“I get embarrassed about the paparazzi if I'm in a chic restaurant, or when I was in the AA meetings ... I feel really disrespectful, because those people are doing that for themselves and it's no one else's business,” she told the mag.
“Other times, I obviously like it ... I wouldn't ever want them to not take my picture, I'd be worried. I'd be like 'Do people not care for me?'"
Pop Tarts Down Under at Aussie MTV VMAs
The Australian MTV Video Music Awards in Sydney saw a heap of Hollywood heartthrobs — including Pink, Nicole Richie, Good Charlotte, Jared Leto and Fergie — hit the spot Down Under for a "crikey" of a time.
Well, it was styles and smiles for everyone Sunday night except Snoop Dogg, who was “dropped like he was hot” by government officials who denied him entry into the country after deciding he was of "poor character." The show had to go on.
A mildly meatier Nicole Richie disappointed frantic fans as she sprinted down the red carpet. The Tinseltown tiny refused to stop for chitchat and was met with hisses and boos from her fuming fans.
“We’ve been waiting to see Nicole for two days straight,” cried one 17-year-old Sydney gal. “We waited for 10 hours at the airport and now all day at the awards. We barely even got a glimpse, and I’m devastated.”
Itty bitty babe Richie caused media mayhem on her arrival, and her bodyguards resorted to aggressive tactics to push away fans.
The prima donna told organizers of the event that she wouldn’t do anything on her stay but present an award, and was even rude to staff on her Qantas flight from L.A. to sunny Sydney.
“Nicole wasn’t very nice,” one crew member said. “She has no charm.”
And after Fergie’s publicity machine perused the throngs of fans, a decision was made that the “Glamorous” girl would make her own diva-like dash down the red carpet. The saucy singer and show co-host walked away with Sexiest Video for her “Fergalicious” flirting.
As a comely change for the red-carpet cameras, Kristin Cavallari proved that she was far from shy.
“Being confident and approachable is so important,” the bubbly blonde told FOXNews.com, after admitting that she has just signed on to a new TV series that she "can’t talk about just yet."
And when is comes to celebrity style, Cavallari refuses to follow the rehab rage.
“It’s not that hard to keep it together,” she said. “Just don’t go out … well, don’t go out every night of the week, anyway.”
But if you do, the “Laguna Beach” babe is all about Hollywood hotspot Winston’s.
Punk princess Pink paraded around in a dress by Aussie designer Collette Dinnigan, dubbing her Australian fans as the "craziest of all." And who knew that the punk princess was such a passionate romantic?
“Cary [her husband] and I stay in contact in whatever way we can when we’re apart. E-mail, phone, everything,” she said. “If you want to have a successful Hollywood marriage, you have to stop taking everything so seriously!”
The soulful singer snagged the awards for Best Female Artist and Download of the Year.
And is it possible that Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden will hastily hurl from the Hollywood Hills to the Land of Oz when he marries Aussie babe Sophie Monk?
“I definitely want to become an Australian,” he confirmed. “I’ve always said that I want to raise my kids here.”
“Nicole and I will just have to come and visit lots,” added his brother Joel, who dates Richie.
Hmm … does that mean Miss Richie really is going from "Simple Life" to "Simple Wife"?
Even gossip goddess Perez Hilton flew in for the fancy frenzy and told FOXNews.com who his most beloved Boulevard beauties are.
“Aside from Paris Hilton, I won’t bag Angelina Jolie,” he said. “All that stuff about her and Brad being on the rocks, it’s BS, I say.”
Jared Leto’s band, 30 Seconds to Mars, also made it to Sydney to collect trophies for Best Rock Video and Video of the Year. And the bad boy himself wasn’t short of star-studded admirers.
“I can’t wait to meet Leto. He just has this awesome aura,” "Rock Star: Supernova" runner-up Toby Rand told FOXNews.com on the red carpet. “He’s slept with so many girls. I hope it’ll rub off on me.”
Britney Spears to Write 'Toxic' Tell-All Biography
Britney Spears' battle with a broken heart reportedly has driven her to write a tell-all tale of her “Toxic” relationships, starting with “SexyBack” singer Justin Timberlake.
"Britney blames most of her problems with drugs and alcohol on the heartache she experienced years before, during her time with Justin," a source told Star magazine. "She couldn't trust him. I hear she's going to say she believes he constantly lied to her about other girls and that destroyed her self-esteem.”
Brit’s buddy also revealed that there was no “FutureSex/LoveSounds” toward the end of the relationship, as JT told her she was too big to bed.
Star also reported that the biography may also dish the dirt on Spears’ suicide attempts after realizing that ex-hubby, Kevin Federline, was using her for fame and fortune.
"His womanizing, his wild spending, the verbal abuse he hurled at her when he thought their marriage was coming to an end," the source told the Star. "Britney will say he deliberately tried to drive her crazy.
"She feels Kevin just pretended to love her for the money and a music career,” the insider continued. “When that sunk in, she was so heartbroken that she wanted to kill herself."
And apparently, the famous family feuds also will be featured, with the reformed rehabber revealing her mom’s money-hungry habits.
"Britney will call her a 'stage mom from hell' and blame her for almost every ill in her life,” the source said. "She'll say Lynne's money-hungry and that she was just along for the free ride. Britney thinks of her as a meddling, smothering person and blames her for her messy marriages."
Worried About Angie?
While screen siren Angelina Jolie is still busy going “Beyond Borders” to blossom the Brangelina brigade, friends and family reportedly fear the "Gone in 60 Seconds” star is suffering from a serious sickness.
The National Enquirer reported that Jolie not only looked waif-like and weary at last week’s Global Action for Children launch in Washington, D.C., but that she is also troubled by uncontrollable shaking and hair loss.
Angie's brother James Haven reportedly has gone public with his deep distress over his sister's fading frame since she gave birth to daughter Shiloh last year.
Haven has also told a British paper that she was not eating well and that both he and Angie's partner Brad Pitt were concerned and pushing her toward healthier habits.
Despite the pressure of losing her mother to cancer in January and the rumors that her relationship with Pitt is rocky, Jolie has continued a string of high-profile events and even expanded her brood by adopting a Vietnamese boy, Pax Thien.
Tyra Grabs Rosie's Girls
Supermodel-turned-talk-show-host Tyra Banks wanted more than just a “View" of Rosie O’Donnell’s breasts when she dropped by the TV show last week.
Tyra decided to fondle the co-host, just to make sure that Rosie’s assets were real.
The retired runway model also was ridiculed last week for marching out of a Manhattan eatery without picking up her brunch bill.
On Saturday, the supermodel ate at the Brooklyn Diner with music mogul Russell Simmons and his children — but the party left without paying, according to Alexis Reyes, the diner's manager.
"Everybody waved goodbye and there was nothing in the billfold," Reyes told People magazine. "We kind of figured it was OK. It was so chaotic; she thought someone must have paid the bill."
It turns out Tyra’s dine and dash was just a mass misunderstanding, and the swimsuit siren returned to give back her greens.
Ashlee Simpson's Friends Fear Drug Dilemma
Friends of Ashlee Simpson fear the former “7th Heaven” star has leaped into the drug scene.
Pals of the punk princess have told Australian OK! magazine that Ash’s new rocker boyfriend, Pete Wentz, may be influencing her wayward ways. The tuneful duo was recently spotted on a bender at Sin City’s Jet nightclub and then again leaving Hollywood hotspot Parc.
“She [Simpson] looked out of it,” a witness told the magazine. “She got into a car clutching wads of dollars and rubbing her nose.”
The younger Simpson sister initially sparked controversy at the opening of L.A.’s Runway nightclub two weeks ago with a mysterious white residue in her right nostril.
“Her friends are worried,” another insider told OK! “Ashlee likes to be thought of as a strong, independent woman, but deep down she’s a young girl who buckles under peer pressure. The L.A. scene is rife with drugs, and someone with a persona like hers could almost certainly get into danger.”
Calls to Ashlee’s publicist by OK! were not returned.
