For the second straight day we ended the show with a musical number and I trust you went to work with a smile on your face.
As we count down the hours until "the D.C. madam" releases the names of all her customers, tension builds on the potentially devastating story. She claims her place was just an escort service and the women who worked for her were just sub-contractors. The service? Well, she says they sold fantasy sex — I guess a lot of talking and no touching. Something tells me she might not be revealing her entire business plan. Friday on "20/20" we find out how may big names will be sullied forever. This might be one problem that crosses party lines — what do you think?
As for today, we moved the story of the veto stand-off forward by confirming negotiations between the Democrats and the White House were well under way and progress was being made.
For the third time this week we reported on the rumored passing of a key Al Qaeda member and thankfully we got confirmation of their information mastermind's demise before we scurried off the air.
But the biggest name on our set not named Gretchen Carlson was Pastor Rick Warren. The author of “Purpose Driven Life” lit up our stage and our greenroom. He just comes of as one of the happiest, most content people I have ever met. OK — maybe Hardy the jovial camera guy was like that… but he’s gone now.
Sad news as we countdown the final days of Maria Donovan’s stay on "FOX & Friends." She’s moving over to daytime and we miss her already.
Thursday night I will be signing books at Bennett Books in Wyckoff, New Jersey and hope to see you there! Unconfirmed reports say Doocy will be there… but I need a second source. He did invite me over to dinner — which was a wonderful gesture — but he let out an audible cheer when I said I was tied up at work until late.
Of course the book I am signing is my new one called, “It's How You Play the Game: The Powerful Sports Moments That Taught Lasting Values to America’s Finest." If you are looking to scoop it up for a birthday, Father's or Mother's Day present, go to www.briankilmeade.com punch it in and I’ll personalize it.
