A school bus smashed into a utility pole after colliding with an SUV in Texas, injuring several people, local FOX station KDFW reported.

A medical helicopter airlifted the driver of the white SUV to a nearby hospital and two other adults on the bus were injured at the Plano intersection collision, which forced the closure of Highway 121 and caused heavy traffic delays. Three children were on the bus but none was hurt, officials said.

No other details were available on the crash, which happened about 7:30 a.m. Central time.
