Organizers of a classical music festival have been left feeling on a bad note after an $88,000 grand piano fell off the back of a delivery truck and crashed to the ground.

Fundraisers for theTwo Moors Festival had saved for two years to get the cash needed to buy the Bosendorfer piano — considered to be the Rolls-Royce of the piano world.

The festival’s artistic director Penny Adie, 53, said she was so excited that the instrument was being delivered that she ran out to take pictures.

But she was left “numb” as she snapped it crashing to the ground.

“We were just so shocked," she said. "It was like seeing a priceless painting torn to shreds.”
