Indonesian Police Nab Terror Suspect

Police arrested a suspected Islamic terrorist in Indonesia, a mostly Muslim country that has seen a string of bloody attacks on Western targets in recent years, security officials said Wednesday.

The suspect was picked up late Tuesday in Yogyakarta city on Java island, said local police chief Hari Anwar. His identity was not immediately released.

State news agency Antara reported that shots were fired during the operation, and that three other suspects escaped.
