March 11, 2007
Our guests this week include:
• Fred Thompson, Former Tennessee Senator
• Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), "Out of Iraq" Caucus Founder
With many conservatives unhappy with the current Republican field, some are pushing for a new candidate. Is Fred Thompson the next Ronald Reagan? We'll talk with the former Senator — now an actor on "Law and Order" — about taking on a possible new role as well as his support for I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby in the wake of this week's guilty verdict.
Then, with opposition to the Iraq war growing in Congress, some liberal members are upset not only with the president, but their own leaders for not doing enough to end the war and bring the troops home. We'll sit down with the founder of the "Out of Iraq" Caucus in the House, California Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
Our panel will discuss the impact the Libby verdict will have on the White House as well as the latest on the Iraq debate on Capitol Hill. Joining us will be Brit Hume of Fox News, Bill Kristol of the Weekly Standard, Mara Liasson of National Public Radio, and Nina Easton of Fortune Magazine.
Plus, our power player this week is Billy Taylor, one of jazz's most influential pianists and composers.
So check your local listings and we'll see you on the next FOX News Sunday,
