"As a 1971 Nam vet, I'd like to wish all of our men and women in the armed forces a very Merry Christmas and a safe and blessed New Year. You are in our prayers." — A.C. (Culloden, WV)

"I'm a former Sergeant of Marines during Operation Desert Storm in the 1st Marine Division and I know first hand how hard it is being away from home, especially in a combat zone. One of the biggest moral boosters was simply knowing we had the love and support from the people back home. I'm here to tell you, you have that and more. Regardless of what may be broadcast on the news, all of the true Americans are behind you 100 percent and appreciate all that you sacrifice for our freedom." — Sgt. Horn

"I thank the Lord many times for those of you who go on my behalf to protect our country. I am praying for you. May you know His presence." — Sue

"Our deepest respects and sincerest wishes for those who serve. — You are all the best, the brightest, the patriots of the United States Military, who valiantly defend our freedoms and enable others to know the value of those same freedoms. Thank you for all the sacrifices. " — The Terry's (Lilburn, GA)

To All our Troops: Thanks for all that you do and your willingness to protect and serve us. It is the men and women of the U.S. military that make the USA the great country that it is today. As a Vietnam vet, I understand some of the things that you are going through. I know it is not easy to be away from your family and loved ones during the holidays, but hang in there, and they will be waiting with open arms for your return." — Jerry (Bristol, IN)

"My husband and I are very, very proud of every one of you. We wish we could you tell you in person how much love and respect you have from us and how we pray for you each and every day. ”Knowing that soldiers like my buddy Jay Shankle are on the job makes me confident that we will defeat evil. I rather have you back in the USA, but there's nobody else I'd rather have fighting to win. Merry Christmas, Jay! We love you and are praying for you, your wife, and the new baby.” — Clint (Richmond, VA)

”I respect each and every one of you for what you are doing for our country. I pray for you and hope that this war ends soon. God bless you and this country.” — Trudy (Las Vegas, NV)

My WWII experiences were as traumatic as yours today are. I certainly appreciated comments from home, as you must also. Seeing many pictures of Iraq with you in them show me that the training you have appears to be excellent. Your gear also appears to be excellent. I have talked to a couple of you as they appeared on the scene. They, as well as you, were very educated and as well as very physically conditioned. That takes a talent and desire to perform admirably. Thank you very much.” — Bill

”My family and I are deeply grateful for our troops' bravery and dedication. We believe their mission in Iraq and Afghanistan is vital to our national security. I would love to see FOX News give more coverage to the success stories -- after all, you are supposed to “fair and balanced.” Since we know our troops watch FOX News, wouldn't it be helpful to them to see at least one news outlet touting their successes?” — Jennifer

”I am a World Trade Center survivor — I worked on 102nd floor of Tower 2 on 9/11. You are my heroes, you are the meaning of freedom and America! You are brave and selfless and have my prayers and thoughts for you everyday! If I were young enough, strong enough, and healthy enough to fight alongside of you, I would! My sincere gratitude for your sacrifice!” — Phyllis

"My family and I are deeply grateful for our troops' bravery and dedication. We believe their mission in Iraq and Afghanistan is vital to our national security." — Jennifer
