”I understand what you provide, and I am grateful for it. The liberty we enjoy is always under attack by those who hate it, and you defend our liberty against them. You allow us to live relatively peaceful lives with freedom and security, in spite of those who would destroy us. I am in awe of your ability to withstand long deployments overseas away from your loved ones, and I am in awe of the level of combat readiness you achieve through training and even hostile-fire experience. When I see our flag wave, when I hear our national anthem, or when I witness the missing-man formation in a military fly-over, I always tear up. Without you, I would not be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor. Without you, I would not be able to raise my family as I see fit. Without you, I would not be able to choose to worship the Father. Without you, we would not be a strong enough nation to bless the rest of the world with our bounty or to oppose the forces of evil. You are our shield and our sword. Your heart for your nation is the most noble cause. Even Jesus cited so in saying, 'Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.' (John 15:13) God bless you, keep you, give you success in your mission, and return you home soon! Amen!” — Steve (Manassas, VA)

”Just a note of appreciation from a thankful senior citizen. Not long ago, I attended the fifty-year anniversary held at the Marine cold weather training facility near Bridgeport California. I was struck by the high quality of men in service at this training command. The strength and high intelligence on display there should warm the heart of any American. I see this same high quality displayed in the faces of troops throughout our voluntary military services. Freedom has its price, and I praise the Lord these fine men and women stand ready to defend the rest of us.” — Delano

”A heartfelt thank you goes to America’s finest, our troops scattered around the globe. I can not verbally express the appreciation for the sacrifices that you are making for our freedom. I can only return the favor with a promise of my deepest and frequent prayers for God’s hand of protection and guidance to be over all of our men and women in the armed forces. We await your safe return with welcoming and open arms. Until then, keep up the good fight!” — Mark (Elko, NV)
