DRY RIDGE, Ky. – Several students were taken to hospitals after a school bus crashed in northern Kentucky on Wednesday morning.
The crash happened in Grant County, about 50 miles north of Lexington.
All 17 students aboard the bus were taken to a local hospital to be checked, said Nancy Howe, a spokeswoman for the Grant County school district. The bus driver also was taken to the hospital, she said.
One student was transported to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, said hospital spokeswoman Marla Fuller. She said she didn't know the student's injuries.
Howe said she didn't know the cause of the crash.
Television video showed dents and broken windows on the driver's side of the bus.
