Police have arrested two Jamaican men suspected of throwing a woman to her death from the fourth-floor balcony of her apartment in the British Virgin Islands.
The men, both 23, are accused of killing another Jamaican national, Dorcas Rhule, 39, during a home invasion on the night of Oct. 3. They are scheduled to appear in court Thursday on murder charges, police spokeswoman Tamara Archibald-Gill said.
Andrew Milton and Denis Campbell were captured separately after a weeklong manhunt by officers investigating the death of Rhule, who had been working in a restaurant on the British territory's main island of Tortola before she plunged 45 feet to her death, Archibald-Gill said.
Authorities said another suspect, a 22-year-old Jamaican man, remains at large.
Rhule's killing in early October was the British territory's second homicide this year. A British man fatally shot in his driveway on the nearby island of Virgin Gorda this weekend was the third homicide.
