On FOX News Sunday this week: It was an intense week in politics, with the fallout from last week’s explosive FNS interview with former President Bill Clinton and the release of a grim White House National Intelligence Estimate regarding Iraq. As Democrats and Republicans continue to debate the former president’s assertions regarding 9/11, as well as the current war in Iraq, who will gain the advantage going into the November midterm elections? We will discuss the latest with current and former Congressional leaders as well as key terrorism experts from the Clinton and Bush administrations.

Our guests this week include:
• Rep. Jane Harman, (D-CA), ranking member House Intelligence Committee
• Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House
• Lawrence Wright, author of "The Looming Tower"
• Michael Scheuer, former chief of the CIA's Usama bin Laden Unit
• Daniel Benjamin, a member of Clinton National Security Council
A new book by Washington Post Reporter Bob Woodward scheduled for release this Monday reveals intelligence that the Iraqi insurgency will grow worse in 2007 and documents an alleged White House effort to hide the truth about the level of violence in Iraq from the public.
The book comes on the heels of the partial release of a National Intelligence Estimate regarding Iraq this week, which Democrats and Republicans are both selectively quoting to make political statements about the war. Is the war in Iraq creating more terrorists, and is the Bush administration suppressing the truth about Iraq from the American public? Could a premature exit from Iraq hurt the U.S. war on terrorism in the long run? For answers, we turn to former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Jane Harman.
Then we will speak to a trio of terrorism experts to discuss President Clinton’s assertions during his FOX News Sunday interview last week, in which he argued that he "got closer to killing" Usama bin Laden than the Bush administration has.
How close did the Clinton administration come to killing the al Qaeda leader, what was the extent of his administration’s military planning for Afghanistan, and what was done to bring down the "wall" between the FBI and CIA during the 1990s? Additionally, did the Bush administration do everything it could have done to address the threat from al Qaeda during its first eight months in office? We will debate the facts with a member of the Clinton National Security Council, Daniel Benjamin, former head of the CIA’s bin Laden unit, Michael Scheuer, and Lawrence Wright, acclaimed author of the new book "The Looming Tower."
Our FOX News Sunday panel will discuss the new Woodward book and its potential impact on the midterm elections as well as the latest political events. The panel will include FOX News Managing Editor Brit Hume, Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol, NPR Senior National Correspondent Juan Williams and NPR National Political Correspondent Mara Liasson.
