Hi!

This is my first time entering the "blog world" for "FOX & Friends"!

I couldn't be more thrilled to be joining such a great morning show with two of the best guys around. Steve and Brian have made me feel very welcome, and that means a lot. And Lauren and I go way back. We both hail from Minnesota and share an interest in classical music. Lauren is a gifted classical pianist as you know, and as a child, I was a serious classical violinist. Lauren and I crossed paths many years ago when we were both part of the Miss America system. It truly is a small world!

Today on the show we introduced you to the FOX News Orchestra. They write all of the jingles you hear at FOX, including the new "FOX & Friends" theme song.

We continue to make other new changes to the show as well. We're sitting in stools at the beginning of both the 7 and 8 a.m. hours. Then we're back to the chairs and outside too. We saw a bunch of cool cars today — six that have been used in the movies before. I tried to make a getaway in the fancy Mustang... but didn't get too far.

Brian tried to go hoop to hoop with Tony Parker of the NBA ... even if he couldn't get Tony to give up that much about his relationship with "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria!

On Thursday, we'll talk to Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist. Will Congress get the job done before mid-term elections on immigration, the surveillance program and more? We'll also speak with Iraq's national security chief.

And oh yeah... we'll have fun too!

Thanks for welcoming me into your homes. Little by little, I hope you feel comfortable coming to know me… and me to know you better as well.

Now I'm off to check in on my two little ones — a 3-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy. Man, am I glad I became a mom.
