Sharon Stone's Badgley Mischka Ad Campaign to Debut in October

Sharon Stone, who's spent time on both "best dressed" and "worst dressed" lists thanks to her risk-taking style, will wear high-glamour gowns in an ad campaign for Badgley Mischka.

"Our collection represents Hollywood glamour with a modern twist and Sharon epitomizes this look. We have dressed Sharon many times and working with her on this campaign and combining our visions was an incredible experience," the design duo of Mark Badgley and James Mischka said Wednesday in a statement.

Print ads featuring Stone will appear in the October issues of Vogue, Elle and InStyle, among other magazines. They follow last season's campaign featuring actresses Ashley Olsen and her twin sister, Mary-Kate.

Gilles Bensimon photographed the 48-year-old actress at the former estate of philanthropist Dorothy Chandler in Hancock Park in Los Angeles.

"I've known Mark and James for many years ever since they brought their gorgeous gowns to my house and spread them over my living room," Stone said in a statement. "Since then, I've always thought of wearing their dress like going to a great party — they're fun, elegant and intricately detailed."

Stone, who starred in "Casino" and the "Basic Instinct" movies, has a role in the Emilio Estevez-directed "Bobby," slated for release Nov. 17.

In 1992, Stone and her sister, Kelly, created Planet Hope, an organization that provides medical care and counseling to homeless and abused children and their families. Badgley Mischka has donated $100,000 to Planet Hope, according to a spokeswoman for the ad campaign.
