Two teenage counselors of a summer camp face charges of having simulated sex with fully clothed campers as part of what was reportedly discipline for rules violations.

The counselors are charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct, Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood said in a news release.

Jordan E. Barnes, 17, of Chicago, and Lyle C. Simpson, 18, of Indianapolis, were being held on $50,000 bonds and were scheduled for preliminary examinations Wednesday.

On July 26, sheriff's deputies were called to Camp Wagner in southwestern Michigan, Underwood said. It is in Calvin Township near Cassopolis, 20 miles northeast of South Bend, Ind.

The sheriff said the counselors are accused of attacking four boys.

"The suspects and victims all had clothing on, and the suspects were disciplining the campers for violations that occurred at the camp," Underwood said. "The suspects would simulate sex with their victims."
