A 14-year-old girl died in her boyfriend's arms, a 17-year-old boy also was killed and two other teenagers were wounded when one or more attackers poured shots into a trailer home, the Washtenaw County sheriff's department said.

The shooting happened about 11:20 p.m. Sunday at Greenbriar Estates in Ypsilanti Township, about 30 miles west of Detroit.

"It was `bang, bang,"' Matt Kruger, who was in the home when the shooting occurred, told The Detroit News. "Drywall was flying everywhere. You couldn't see anything."

The four people shot all were from Ypsilanti Township, the department said.

Krilissa Feldman, 14, died at the scene, and Scott Bonar, 17, died at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Superior Township, the department said. It said Joseph Tibbs, 19, and Chad Yates, 17, were treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

"It was intentional with that many shots fired," said sheriff's Detective Dan Meinzer. "It was very targeted."

"It is believed that the shooter or shooters had fired at the home from outside, possibly in a drive-by style shooting," the sheriff's department said in a news release. "None of the victims were actual residents of the home."

The Michigan State Police crime lab was assisting the investigation, the statement said.

Feldman died in the arms of her boyfriend, Matt Craiger, according to The Ann Arbor News. A bullet went through his shirt but did not hit him.

Sheriff's Cmdr. Dave Egeler said police were following credible leads.

"We're still trying to interview all of the people who were present to get their statements," Egeler said. "We're vigilantly searching for the suspects responsible for this brutal crime."
