That's Not the Colonel's Herbs and Spices
Cops in Buffalo, New York, say two guys decided to make a KFC run when a cloud of smoke wafted in through the drive-thru window.
Just so happens that two narcotics agents were inside placing their orders when they smelled something — and it wasn't one of the colonel's special herbs and spices. A detective says they went outside and found one of the guys smoking "the biggest marijuana cigar you ever saw."
Both men were arrested and charged with possession and smoking marijuana in public.
Cell Phone Breathalyzer
You can play games on it and check your e-mail. Now there's a cell phone that can tell you if you're drunk.
The South Korean company LG plans to sell the phone in the United States later this year. The phone has a built-in Breathalyzer. The user just blows into a small spot on the phone and, if you've had too much to drink, it issues a warning and shows a weaving car hitting traffic cones.
The phone also has a "Drunk Dial" feature so if your blood alcohol level is over .08 it won't let you call certain people, like your ex or your boss.
Superman is making a comeback this weekend, but he's a few days too late for one man in Oregon.
The fire department says his cat was caught in a tree 30 feet high in the air, but when they arrived the cat was already safely on the ground. They still had to break out the 100-foot ladder to get the guy down because he got stuck when he went up to make the save.
Bruno the bear has finally met his demise, and it's going to cost one guy who put his entire business on the line hoping that Bruno would remain in the wild.
The animal was legendary in a German village for the Bugs Bunny-like way he would escape from hunters. So one t-shirt maker printed up hundreds of Bruno the bear shirts that said: "You'll never catch me." One day later, Bruno bit the bullet.
Now the businessman is suing the hunter who took out the bear for financial damages.
