Prince Charles' private income rose 6 percent in the past year, published accounts showed Monday.
Charles, the Prince of Wales, received 14.067 million pounds (euro20.45 million; US$25.6 million) from the Duchy of Cornwall in the 2005/2006 fiscal year, compared to 13.274 million pounds in the previous year.
The increase was attributed to hikes in commercial property rentals and increased investment income.
The financial review published by Clarence House, the prince's office, also said that Charles' 16 main charities raised 110 million pounds (euro160 million; US$200 million) in the recent year.
The Duchy of Cornwall was established in 1337 by King Edward II to provide income for his heir.
