A search party looking for a missing woman found a decomposed body stuffed in a closet and family members say the remains are hers.

The body was found Saturday in an abandoned home next door to where Shawn Luchey, 43, lived before disappearing in March.

Buffalo police were questioning family members and witnesses late Saturday, but no arrests had been made.

The search party was organized after one of Luchey's sisters, Edith Pittman, called a radio show by the Stop the Violence Coalition to ask for help Saturday morning.

Luchey's brother reported her missing to police April 29.

Her family said Luchey had struggled for years with drugs, including crack cocaine. She disappeared shortly after leaving jail on a 30-day sentence for prostitution.
