ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Jurors reached a decision Wednesday as to if Zacarias Moussaoui should die for his alleged role in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. On that day:
8:46:26 a.m.: Hijacked passenger airliner American Airlines Flight 11 out of Boston, crashes into the north tower of the World Trade Center (WTC 1)
9:02:54 a.m.: Second hijacked jet, United Airlines Flight 175 from Boston, crashes into the south tower of the World Trade Center (WTC 2)
9:30 a.m.: President Bush, in Sarasota, Fla., says the country has suffered an "apparent terrorist attack on our country."
9:37 a.m. : American Airlines Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon. Evacuation immediately begins.
9:40 a.m.: FAA grounds all flights at U.S. airports. This is the first time in U.S. history that nationwide air traffic suspended.
9:59:04 a.m.: South tower of the World Trade Center collapses.
10:06 a.m.: United Airlines Flight 93, also hijacked, crashes in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, southeast of Pittsburgh.
10:10 a.m.: Part of the Pentagon collapses.
10:28:31 a.m.: The World Trade Center's north tower collapses
1:04 p.m.: President Bush: "Make no mistake: The United States will hunt down and punish those responsible for these cowardly acts."
Nearly 3,000 people died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
