SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose police planned for a series of protests surrounding President Bush's visit to the Silicon Valley on Friday.
Protesters from at least 12 anti-war groups planned demonstrations at the President's landing at Moffett Field and later at a meeting with high-tech leaders at Cisco Systems headquarters.
Police said they will keep demonstrators far away from the President.
The events kick off Bush's four-day visit to California and Nevada.
He is also scheduled to visit Stanford University's Hoover Institution, which is home to many of his early advisers, and meet with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who wants federal money to repair California's levees.
