Crime-Solving Show Generates Leads in Holloway Case

Aruban authorities Wednesday said a TV show generated 60 new tips in the case of missing American teen Natalee Holloway.

Police said the clues came in after the broadcast on Tuesday of the Dutch crime-solving program "Arrest Requested," which re-enacted Holloway's last known hours in Aruba.

"A couple of tips seem to be useful," the police said in a statement. "This must be verified by further investigation."

In the show, police commissioner Adolf Richardson said a man was being sought who allegedly harassed a woman on the same beach where the American teen-ager disappeared nine days later. Richardson said there was no proof the incident was related to the Holloway case.

Holloway has been missing since May 30. She left a bar that night with three young men, who were arrested in June and later released due to insufficient evidence. The 18-year-old Alabama resident was in Aruba on a high school graduation trip.
