This is a partial transcript from "Your World with Neil Cavuto," March 22, 2006, that was edited for clarity.
NEIL CAVUTO, HOST: If you want to reel in that special someone, you better have health insurance. That's right. It is emerging as the sexiest selling point among online daters.
And our next two guests can tell you why.
Joining us is Shoshanna Rikon, CEO of Shoshanna's Matches, and Andrea Krawitz, who went online and wanted only someone with health insurance.
This is big to both of you?
ANDREA KRAWITZ, LOOKING FOR LOVE AND HEALTH CARE: I think it is very important these days, I think. Job stability, people leaving jobs so frequently, it is hard to really find someone who is stable and has the health insurance.
CAVUTO: Well, cha-ching, cha-ching.
KRAWITZ: Well, I hate to say it, but it is on people's mind.
CAVUTO: So, that would have made the difference? If this guy you married didn't have that, you would you have kept looking?
KRAWITZ: No. It wouldn't have made a difference, but I have to tell you, it's a nice perk.
CAVUTO: Sealed the deal?
KRAWITZ: Yes, it helped.
CAVUTO: Sealed the deal.
KRAWITZ: No. I'm just kidding.
CAVUTO: Is that the new issue of this time?
SHOSHANNA RIKON, CEO, SHOSHANNA'S MATCHES: It is.
It is the new issue. People, especially a woman, would like to have security in their life. So, that means, not only are they looking for someone who has a six-figure income, but they also want someone who has a nice insurance plan. It's very important.
CAVUTO: And men feel the same way about women, who they are hooking up with?
RIKON: Not really.
RIKON: Men are mostly visual. You know, they're looking for someone who looks good.
CAVUTO: But you're both self-made. You both support yourselves and all. You don't need some guy to be some sugar daddy, do you?
RIKON: It helps. I mean, we...
CAVUTO: OK. Well, at least you're honest.
RIKON: We definitely want someone who is stable and who is doing pretty good in the work force.
CAVUTO: All right. Andrea, you are married now.
CAVUTO: When your betrothed hooked up, did he have to provide, like, you know, a W-2, tax forms?
KRAWITZ: Oh, yes.
KRAWITZ: No. I'm just kidding.
I just have to say, I think it is much more attractive to find someone that has got a steady job, steady income, you know, regardless of what they are making. It is nice to know that they have that health insurance. It's just like Shoshanna was staying, it is a stability issue.
CAVUTO: And, usually, if they are making a lot, they have the health insurance, right?
KRAWITZ: I would say that goes along, hand in hand...
KRAWITZ: I mean, it is a nice perk.
CAVUTO: So, what if your guy was a pauper, but he was just the love of your life?
KRAWITZ: Yes. Well, like I said, it's not a deciding factor, but I have to say, bottom line, it is a perk. And it's a nice perk to have.
CAVUTO: Here is what guys would say, hearing this. And I don't mean to be rude, Shoshanna. But they will say, huh, gold digger.
RIKON: I wouldn't say it is a gold digger. It's just you want your children to be taken care of. It is important. You want stability.
CAVUTO: Well, have you dated a lot of people who didn't have health insurance? And how the heck would that come up in a conversation?
CAVUTO: "Oh, have the Chablis. Do you have health insurance?"
RIKON: Sure. It's like, "What do you do for a living?" And then you start having a conversation with someone. And, then, you say: "I am on this insurance. What are you on?" You know, so it is very casual...
CAVUTO: I see. How did it come up with you?
KRAWITZ: Well, I guess just knowing his background. Basically, I pretty knew he's at a large company. I knew that he was taken care of.
CAVUTO: But how secure was his job? Because, you know, if he loses his job, that goes, too.
KRAWITZ: Well, whose job is secure these days, right? I guess you just have to go with it and hope it all works out.
But it is in the back of, I think, everyone's mind, regardless of what anyone will say. You know, you could meet people that say, oh, it is not a big deal, just like people will say money doesn't matter.
But you are just saying women and men, but particularly women, this should be among the things you look for?
RIKON: Sure. Yes, I agree. I think that this is something that they should look for in a man.
CAVUTO: Yes? And everything else could be perfect, but, if they don't have that, then, no deal?
RIKON: It is a turnoff.
RIKON: It really is.
CAVUTO: OK. All right.
CAVUTO: Shoshanna, Andrea, thank you both very much.
KRAWITZ: Thank you.
RIKON: Thank you.
CAVUTO: Good luck with the marriage.
KRAWITZ: Thank you, Neil.
CAVUTO: I hope he keeps that health insurance.
