Craig Mitnick joined FOX News Channel (FNC) as a legal contributor in August 2004.
He regularly appears on "Dayside," "FOX News Live," "Studio B w/Shepard Smith" and "The O'Reilly Factor." He also has a weekend segment, "Craig's Court," on "FOX & Friends Weekend" and is featured on FOX News Radio and several FOX affiliates.
Aside from his duties as contributor, Mitnick is a practicing attorney at the Law Offices of Craig R. Mitnick, LLC. He has practiced criminal defense in both the federal and state court systems. Additionally, Mitnick has extensive criminal trial experience involving state level crimes and federal code violations, including federal organized crime and racketeering.
Prior to his career in criminal defense, Mitnick was the assistant prosecutor at Camden County Prosecutor's office in 1988 through 1990 and prosecuted all major crimes, including homicide offenses, aggravated assaults, sexual offenses, and drug crime offenses. In 1987 to 1988, he was the assistant prosecutor for Burlington County, New Jersey. In addition, Mitnick was the certified instructor of New Jersey Law and Procedure at the countywide Police Academy. Before receiving his law degree, Mitnick worked for the Office of President Jimmy Carter.
Mitnick graduated Emory University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1984 and received his Juris Doctor from George Washington University in 1987.
