CUMMING, Ga. – Two people were arrested Monday in a shooting that killed three and left four others injured at a home.
The shooting happened around 11 p.m. Sunday, a Forsyth County sheriff's dispatcher said.
The dead included a woman and two men. Their names were not immediately released.
The two suspects were arrested early Monday based on witness statements, authorities said. Their names were not immediately released. And Forsyth County Sheriff Ted Paxton said he believed the information deputies received will lead to a third suspect.
The people were killed after three people walked into the house and began shooting and stabbing people, Paxton said. One suspect carried a gun and another had a knife, he said.
Paxton called the attack "very brutal, very viscous."
The sheriff said someone in the house called 911 during the attack and the operator could hear gunshots in the background.
