HIALEAH, Fla. – Eight middle school students were taken to hospitals on Thursday after their school bus rolled over in a collision with a car.
Other students were treated at the scene and released.
A school official said the worst injury is a broken arm.
According to Hialeah police, a Mazda rolled through a stop sign, then collided with the bus in an intersection. The bus rolled over the car, then flipped on its side.
Authorities say the Mazda's driver and a passenger were hospitalized. Police say the Mazda's driver will be cited for the crash.
