Co. Hopes to Market Kid Rock, Stapp Tape

The company that distributed the infamous Paris Hilton sex tape hopes to distribute an equally risque video of Kid Rock, former Creed lead singer Scott Stapp and four strippers.

Chatsworth, Calif.-based Red Light District has posted a trailer featuring a mild portion of the video on its Web site.

Red Light District president David Joseph said Friday that he obtained the tape from a third party and needs to iron out some legal issues before he will know whether he can release it on DVD. Joseph said the company had not yet contacted Rock or Stapp.

Joseph said the tape was made six years ago in Miami while the two were touring together. Asked what the full tape shows, he said: "They got some girls from a strip club, and they're having some fun in the motor home."

Messages seeking comment were left for spokespeople for Rock and Stapp.
