Monday night's show was a technical nightmare! It seemed like everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. I am curious about how many mistakes you noticed.

As for today's blog, I have posted some pictures from our journey to see the Blue Angels (search) at their home in Pensacola and fly with them. By the time you read the blog, we will have probably taken our flight (10 a.m. CT on Tuesday.) We arrived a day early so that we could get a tour of the base and see what goes on behind the scenes. The pictures posted today include "Fat Albert" — the C-130 that carries all the supplies and crew — and a few pictures of F/A-18s. What was really fun, since I will never get a chance to do it again, was to walk on top of the C-130. There is a picture of the top of the C-130 posted. The view from the top of a C-130 is spectacular. I am looking forward to the flight on the F/A-18.

Tonight's show will include video of our flight plus more of the Blue Angels. We will do our show once again from the naval station in Pensacola, Florida. As you might imagine, the people at the naval station were great hosts. They bent over backwards to help us and to show us the magnificent Blue Angels.

The blog is short today because we have to get going to the base. We are due there about 7:30 a.m.

Greta,
The Blue Angels are awesome. I look forward to your show tomorrow. My husband and I are so disgusted at the way the Aruban authorities are treating the Twitty family, we have changed our vacation plans from Aruba to Grand Cayman.

Hi Greta,
It will be worth noting whether Alito (search) is required to submit his case history twice as Miers was made to do. Miers' qualifications notwithstanding, I can't ignore the feeling that there is some gender bias in Washington — even if unintentional. I think women everywhere still have to work twice as hard, and have a certain amount of luck (right place, right time, right people) to be able to achieve equal recognition. When a woman, such as Rice or O'Connor achieves mega-success it is all the more remarkable.

I find it astonishing that Robert Bork is the poster child for speaking about the qualifications of being a Supreme Court Justice. Let us get the facts straight, Bork was rejected because he obeyed President Nixon during Watergate by firing the special prosecutor. His actions allowed the Watergate cover-up to continue. Is this the type of person America wanted as a Supreme Court justice?

Hello Greta:
Hopefully everything goes smoothly for this nominee, Alito, so everyone can go on with their life... for those that want to.

Greta, you lucky media person you! Savor the ride. I've been an aviator for most of my life. But, that would never buy me a ride with the Angels. Hey! This is a welcome break from the murders and kidnappings.

P.S.: About 15 years ago, a two-hour show was done on the then current Blue Angel team. The cameras even followed them to Russia. It was a wonderful inside look at how the Angels work... and they all work hard.

Great show tonight with the Blue Angels. You are so lucky to meet with the Blue Angel crew! I will be watching tomorrow's show when you get to go for a ride, wish I could go too. Tell all the Blue Angel crew thanks for serving to protect our great country.

Tell that idiot producer to knock it off with the engine noise background. OK — she's at an airport —- now let's hear the damned program.

Greta,
I love your show but tonight (Monday) it was pathetic that you had that big plane sitting right there while you was on air. It was so loud couldn't even hear anything. Shame on you for doing that. You should have had some respect for the viewers so that they could hear. But no all we could hear was that stupid plane.
Thanks,
Shirley
