"As long as there are NO embryos destroyed I am for any research in this line. An embryo is a life, it cannot be destroyed as parts for other humans." — Anita (Sparta, IL)

"It was under their noses all the time. Until they realized they were not going to be able to move forward with destroying embryo Viola!! All of a sudden a new discovery takes place. Science is amazing!" — Danise

"Scientists? They should be called madman, who are trying to be another God, to add to all the other God's man Is always trying to create. Have they ever come up with anything, in the past, that did not add another problem to all the problems that they created in the past?" — William

"Yes, not having to kill a human being is always acceptable, whether full grown or embryonic. I hope it works." — P. (Southwest City, MO)

"I love the idea of the stem cell research breakthrough. It seems pretty clear to me that if we refuse to lower the value of human life we will always find an even better alternative." — Karen (Willits, CA)

"I would support the newly discovered way of creating stem cells." — Mark

"I'm for using what we already have, but not getting new embryos for stem cell research. Looking at the embryonic sector of our society for harvesting research is no different then using people as guinea pigs for the betterment of mankind." — Wendell

"This breakthrough would certainly be worth given some serious thought. I am against the stem cell research using human embryos." — Pearl (Harrison, AR)

"Fetuses should never be utilized as spare parts farms. They're complete, unique, irreplaceable individual human beings. Even 'a little bit' is too much when you're talking about harvesting anything from a human life. Can't anyone see the nightmare world we're creating a small step at a time?" — Doris

"If it works I think that it would be an acceptable alternative. That should take the politics out." — Art (Jefferson, ME)

"Sounds great about the new discovery regarding skin stem cells. Now the big question is when is it going to be available to the people who needs the treatment?" — John

Luz (Puerto Rico)

"Of COURSE this would be acceptable! If you aren't killing a human being in the process (which is what an embryo is…we were all embryos once), then by all means go forward with the science!" — Kevin (Houston, TX)
