Here's Sarah Jessica Parker (search) proving that there's life after "Sex."
The bubbly blond star, who sizzled as saucy single Carrie Bradshaw in "Sex and the City," is back with two new movie projects -- and her own fragrance called Lovely.
The idea of creating a perfume "seemed completely narcissistic ... I thought people would say, 'Who do you think you are?' " said Parker, who posed in an elegant Carolina Herrera ensemble at The Plaza in New York City for an Annie Leibovitz photo that will appear on the cover of Vogue's September issue.
But then she realized how she'd always been into scents -- at age 20, she even bought up 590 bottles of a $6.99 perfume she loved after learning the manufacturer was going out of business.
Meanwhile, Parker is filming "Failure to Launch," (search) a comedy co-starring Matthew McConaughey (search) as a guy in his 30s who uses his parents as cover to keep him from having to commit to a woman -- until SJP comes along and unravels his scheme.
And already in the can is "The Family Stone," (search) due out this fall, in which Parker plays a successful businesswoman who gets a big thumbs-down from her boyfriend's family.
"It was the hardest experience I've had in a really, really, really long time," Parker, 40, tells the mag.
